Every euro you spend at an independent shop stays in the Kiez instead of ending up on a bank account in California. hiir turns that into a loop: shops gain loyal neighbours, you get real offers, and local micro-economies become more circular. The first version of our solution is very simple: shops offer discounts to neighbours during quieter hours to help strengthen local business. Neighbours get offers that no one else can get.

Who we are

Who we are, and why we’re doing this.

We like it here: as Berliners by choice or even “real” Kreuzbergers. Our office is at Glogauer 6. That’s why we’re starting exclusively in Kreuzberg. For ten years our company has built financial infrastructure grounded in self-determination and participation. Our newest project hiir is close to our hearts: everyone is at home somewhere, everyone lives in a neighbourhood. That can only turn out well.
